Delete your account and data

The fastest way is inside the app. Open BrainWave, tap the settings icon, enter your grown-up PIN, then Settings → Delete everything. It deletes immediately — there is no queue and no waiting period, because there is no copy of your content we could hold back.
If you no longer have the app
Email sumit@sazingadigital.com with the subject BrainWave deletion request.
Include the Family ID from your printed recovery sheet, or the Google/Apple account you signed in with. Requests are completed within 30 days, usually the same week.
One honest limitation: if you have lost your recovery sheet and never signed in, there is nothing that connects you to your stored data — no email, no name, no phone number. In that case we cannot identify which records are yours to delete. That is the same property that stops anyone else claiming them. Untouched families are removed automatically (see below).
What gets deleted

What we keep, and for how long
Nothing that identifies you. Web server access logs, which contain IP addresses and are written by the web server rather than the app, are rotated and discarded within 14 days. They are not linked to a family or an account.
Families with no activity for 24 months are deleted automatically, so abandoned data does not sit on the server indefinitely.
A note on what deletion can and cannot reach
BrainWave stores your content end-to-end encrypted. The keys are made on your phone and never sent to us, which means the copy on our server is unreadable to us at every moment it exists. Deleting removes that ciphertext. It cannot reach a copy you exported yourself, or a recovery sheet you printed — those are yours to destroy.
