Terms of service
App: BrainWave (com.sazinga.brainwave) ·
Provided by Sazinga Digital Services Private Limited ·
Contact: sumit@sazingadigital.com
The short version. BrainWave is free. You write the lessons and you are responsible for what you put in them. The AI features run on an API key you bring, so whatever they cost is between you and that provider. We do our best to keep the service running, but we do not promise it will never break or never change. If any of that does not suit you, don’t use it — and you can delete everything at any time.
1. Who these terms are between
They are between you — the adult who signs in — and Sazinga Digital Services Private Limited (“Sazinga”, “we”). By signing in you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not sign in.
You must be an adult, and you must be the parent or legal guardian of any child you add, or have that person’s permission. A child does not agree to anything here, because a child has no account: you set BrainWave up for them and you remain responsible for their use of it.
2. What BrainWave is
A tool for a parent to write lessons and quizzes, deliver them to a child’s device, and attach points and rewards to finishing them. It is not a school, a curriculum, a tutor, or an assessment of your child. Nothing it reports is an educational or clinical judgement of any kind.
3. It is free
There is no subscription, no in-app purchase and nothing to pay us. We may introduce paid features in future; if we ever do, we will not start charging for something you already have without telling you first.
4. Your account
You sign in with Google, and you are responsible for keeping that account secure. Anything done through your account is treated as done by you.
If you invite a co-parent, understand what you are sharing: they can see and change the same children, lessons, tasks, points and approvals that you can. Invite only someone you intend to give that access to. Removing them later does not un-see what they have already seen.
5. What you write stays yours
The lessons, quizzes and questions you create are yours. You give us only the permission we need to run the service: to store that content, and to deliver it to the devices in your own household. We do not publish it, share it, sell it, or use it to train any model.
You are responsible for what you paste in. BrainWave lets you paste text from anywhere, including a book, a worksheet or a website. Whether you are allowed to copy that text is between you and whoever owns it — we cannot check it and we do not. Copying a substantial part of a copyrighted work, even for your own child, may not be permitted where you live. If you are not sure, write your own, or link to the original instead of reproducing it.
6. The AI features, and what they cost you
Drafting lessons and questions with AI is optional, and it runs on an API key you supply from a provider you choose. That means:
- The cost is yours. Whatever your provider charges for those requests, you pay. We never see your bill and cannot cap it. If you are on a paid tier, keep an eye on it.
- Their terms apply to you. Your use of that provider is governed by your agreement with them, not by this one.
- The output is a draft, not a fact. AI writes things that are wrong, and it will do so here too. Every draft is shown to you and saved only when you accept it. Read it before your child does — that review is your job, not ours.
What we send to a provider, and what we never send, is set out in the privacy policy.
7. Using it properly
Don’t use BrainWave to store or deliver anything unlawful, or anything harmful or inappropriate for the child who will read it. Don’t attempt to break, overload, probe or reverse-engineer the service, reach another household’s data, or use it to build a competing product. Don’t use automated means to create accounts or content at scale.
If you do any of that, we may suspend or remove your access.
8. Availability, and changes
We will try to keep BrainWave running and working, but we do not promise any level of uptime. It may be unavailable for maintenance, may lose features, and may change in ways you would rather it did not. It is provided as is, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows.
If we ever discontinue the service, we will give reasonable notice so you can retrieve or delete your content first.
9. Ending it
You can stop at any time. Deleting your account — More → Delete account in the parent app — removes it immediately, along with every household where you are the only parent. The deletion page explains exactly what goes and what stays.
We may end your access if you break these terms, or if we stop offering the service.
10. Our liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for lost data, or for anything arising from content you or an AI provider produced. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded — including liability for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
Because BrainWave is provided free of charge, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you have paid us, which is nothing.
11. Changes to these terms
If we change them in a way that materially affects you, the app will say so before the change takes effect. Continuing to use BrainWave after that means you accept the new version.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at the registered office of Sazinga Digital Services Private Limited have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
